I agree that the tax structure needs to be changed but President Bush is the best we can hope for in this contest.

Reagan ran up deficits, but he did it by boosting the military. Bush runs up deficits by spending on everything, including a war where he doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

    Big difference.

George Bush is a Big Government Spender in favor of a Big Brother Government.

If the stock market is making a statement about Bush, it has been running lukewarm and cold for a while...

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">He may win, but based on the the divisiveness of the campaign, it appears a landslide is not in the picture.

This all boils down to the little sliver of undecideds, not any huge block of voters who haven't already made up their minds.

If you predict a landslide, please present any polls that reflect such an outcome. If you can present it with a dotted red line to make it easier for all of us to understand, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Poll: President ahead in NH
    By Associated Press
    Monday, September 20, 2004

A new poll puts President Bush [related, bio] ahead of Democrat John Kerry [related, bio] in the swing state of New Hampshire.

The Mason-Dixon poll for MSNBC and Knight-Ridder has Bush at 49 percent and Kerry at 40 percent. The poll of 625 likely voters was conducted Monday through Wednesday. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

The poll said 11 percent chose other candidates or were unsure.

A poll in August and two in late July showed Bush and Kerry about even or Kerry slightly ahead in New Hampshire, whose four electoral votes would have made Al Gore president in 2000.

As it was, Bush won New Hampshire by 7,200 votes, just over one percentage point.

In a poll of 600 likely voters by the American Research Group early last month, 49 percent chose Kerry and 42 chose Bush. The margin of error was 4 points. Seven percent of the respondents were undecided and two percent chose Ralph Nader.

    Presidential Tracking Poll: Bush-Kerry

Updated Daily by Noon Eastern Election 2004

    Presidential Ballot

    Bush 48.1%
    Kerry 45.3%
    Other 2.6%
    Not Sure 4.0%
    RasmussenReports.com

Monday September 20, 2004--The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 48% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 45%. The Tracking Poll is updated daily by noon Eastern.

Colorado remains a Toss-up with Bush on top 46% to 45%. Colorado's Senate race is just as close with Republican Pete Coors up by a point over Democrat Ken Salazar. We will issuing more state election polls throughout the day and will update our Electoral College projections at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

Our latest polling shows that voters assume there is built-in bias for each of the major broadcast news services and newspapers.--Also, we have also re-released a comparison between this election and the 1896 election (the last time we had gone three straight elections without any President winning a popular vote majority). Some believe that election inspired the American classic, the Wizard of Oz.
